Chevillon’s NSG consistently outperforms its category, and the 2019 vintage transcends an already high bar.
Their Nuits has long been one of my bulletproof village Burgundies. The 2019 ups the ante in a serious way.
I'm happy to offer the 2019 at as low as $62.95 per bottle in 4-packs, the lowest price on any vintage of Chevillon's Nuits in the U.S.
When I saw this parcel, I immediately jumped on it. This is a deal that shouldn't be passed up.
Chevillon's style is deep and structured - they are what we reach for when seeking a ruggedly honest, serious Burgundy. The wines age in amazing ways. The Nuits VV benefits from a decade-plus of aging, but unlike Chevillon's 1er Crus the Nuits AC is accessible in its youth.
The 2019 flaunts Chevillon's signature wild complexity. There's no doubt that this is a powerful vintage for the wine with plenty of muscle. However, there's also a stern minerality and radiant energy.
There are few domaines that I respect as much as Chevillon. The NSG VV is one of the village wines that I buy for my cellar every year. Tasting top vintages, like the 2002, makes me have very high expectations for the 2019.

Burghound: "Dense aromas of black cherry, plum, earth and whiffs of wood and the sauvage give way to sleek, delicious and detailed flavors that are finer but not denser, all wrapped in an equally attractively textured finish that is more structured. This too is very good for its level plus it should reward up to a decade of cellaring."
