In recent vintages, it's become very clear that Gouges is at the top of their game. How much the Nuits AC over-delivers makes it really obvious the high level that the domaine is currently working at.

The 2019 Nuits AC is a great edition of this wine. At $64.95 per bottle, it is one of the best values I've encountered in 2019 red Burgundy.
In any vintage, the Nuits has Gouges’ signature of muscle, dark fruit, and earth that's paired with a bright, lifted quality and distinct minerality.
The strength of the 2019 vintage endowed the Nuits with an extra level of depth and complexity. It beautifully combines gripping impact with energy. The palate has a staining earthiness that's complicated by dark red fruits, spice, and a stony minerality.
