For many years Bessin has been an insider wine quietly bought by fans of classic Chablis.

Now it seems that word is out. Our offer last year for their 2019 Valmur was met by an avalanche of orders.

We've been blown away by recent vintages. The wines combine honesty, polish, and intensity. Bessin-Tremblay is producing some of the best examples of Chablis that we've tasted.

Valmur is one of my favorite sites in Chablis. It's energetic, ruthlessly mineral, and incredibly finessed. Along with Raveneau and Moreau-Naudet, Bessin's example makes the greatness of the site very obvious.

The 2021 offers a beautiful combination of power, clarity, and precision. Everything is presented with extraordinary balance. It has incredible concentration with a tactile minerality and a serious saline imprinted length.

This is a dynamite bottle of Grand Cru Chablis. Unfortunately, quantities are very limited. I suggest getting your orders in early.
