For many years, Bessin has been an insider wine quietly bought by fans of classic Chablis. Around five years ago, that ended. The wines blew up and became mentioned in the same breath as the region's luminaries. 

They are certainly Chablis that capture your attention. The wines combine honesty, polish, and intensity. Bessin-Tremblay is producing some of the best examples of Chablis that we've tasted.

Valmur is one of my favorite sites in Chablis. It's energetic, ruthlessly mineral, and incredibly finessed. Along with Raveneau and Moreau-Naudet, Bessin's example makes the greatness of the site very obvious.

The 2022 Valmur has a beautiful texture and captivating finesse. Here, you get a very prominent oceanic element that makes Chablis so distinctive, with an expansive midpalate and a really appealing stony incisiveness on the finish.

This is a dynamite bottle of Grand Cru Chablis. Unfortunately, quantities are very limited. I suggest getting your orders in early.
