You'll find elite bottles, like Monfortino and Giacosa Rionda. However, there's much more ranging from the cult wines of Miani to Vajra's benchmark and long-lived Freisa.
I'm particularly fond of the Tuscan selections. The 2016 Montevertine is stunning. Also, from Montevertine's village of Radda, Monteraponi is making wines in a slightly darker style that are seriously compelling. The 2000 Castell'in Villa Chianti Classico Riserva offers beautiful refinement.
