As we've written before, there may be no young Burgundy domaine that's more exciting than Benoit Moreau.
Benoit Moreau is the younger son of Bernard Moreau. In 2020, he decided to take his portion of his family's vines and make wine on his own.

The style is one of heartbreaking purity and pitch-perfect detail. It has irresistible textures and tension-filled drive. The fact Moreau has planted his flag in Chassagne makes it more extraordinary. Only Pierre Yves Colin renders the village with a similar rigor.
It's these qualities that led the Wine Advocate's William Kelley to write, "Overnight, a new star has been added to Chassagne's firmament, and readers will want to secure allocations while they still can."
Today, we're happy to offer Benoit Moreau's 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet.
The 2022 is an absolutely beautiful follow-up to the 2021. It has presence and lift with a luminous mineral core. Everything is delivered with the utmost clarity.
Before closing, I should warn you that this is a very modest parcel. We encourage you to get your orders in early.
