Finding Testut's Grenouille presents a challenge.
Their holdings in this tiny 10ha Grand Cru are a mere 0.32ha.
From their tiny parcel, they produce what is very easily my favorite example of Grenouilles (Testut uses the Grenouille spelling).
Compared to the mighty power of Les Clos, Grenouilles can come off as being relatively delicate. However, in Testut's hands, the Grand Cru assumes serious intensity while maintaining the site's unique feathery signature.
Testut's 2019 Grenouille is a brilliant example of the wine. Its saline mineral presence is utterly saturating. The wine offers up many of the best qualities of 2019 white Burgundy. The mid-palate is explosive, there's a beautiful racy drive, and incredible balance.
In his tasting note, Burghound highlights a "super-saline" finish. That really helps you imagine the sheer amount of Chablisiènne minerality that it delivers. Along with this, there's an incredible amount of punch married to a delightful sense of levity.
I'm going to wrap this up. Testut's Grenouille isn't widely known, but those who know the wine never miss an opportunity to buy it. Allocations are typically dished out in case quantities. I feel lucky to have landed this parcel, but in reality, it's a very modest amount. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.

Burghound: "A beautifully layered nose reflects notes of sea breeze, apple, iodine, oyster shell and plenty of citrus nuances. There is terrific intensity to the firm, racy and overtly mineral-driven flavors that possess excellent size, weight and mid-palate density, all wrapped in a super-saline and beautifully well-balanced finale. This hugely long mouth-watering effort is lovely stuff and worth your interest provided you have the patience to cellar it for at least a few years first."
