2008 is one of our favorite Piedmont vintages of the past decade. It's ultra-classic, pure and precise. Very few vintages deliver such completeness, such harmony.
What makes the Rocche del Falletto Riserva so unique is its sensual and saturating presence combined with delineation and a hauntingly complex cast of perfumes.This is Nebbiolo at its most carnal and yet, it's rigorously thoughtful in its detail and subtlety.
I'm going to keep this short. Here you have one of Piedmont's iconic wines from a pristine vintage and at the sharpest price around. There's not much left to be said.
