While many of Keller's famous bottles (Hubacker, Abtserde, Morstein, etc.) come from limestone soils, the Nierstein Kabinett comes from steep slopes and red soils.
The area is known for producing powerful wines of incredible breeding. In Keller's hands, and in the 2024 vintage, the Nierstein is both suave and featherweight, intricately blending earthbound minerality and razor-cut precision.
This is Kabinett as we like it. There's intensity, weightlessness, and nervy snap. It's impossible not to be blown away by these qualities melded together.
