The 2015 Aligoté is a turbo-charged vintage of the wine. It's an intense, dramatic, and soaring example. It has a sculpted minerality with a grand architecture and tremendous verve. Everything is seamless, silky, and remarkably classy.
There's undoubtedly something magical about Coche's Aligoté. The wines have an aristocratic flair, with a shocking combination of opulence and rigor.
Bottles of Coche's Aligoté with 5-10 years of age or more can be stunning. The 2015 is just starting to enter its prime years. Across the range, Coche's 2015s are stunning, and I have high hopes that the 2015 will prove to be a star among recent vintages.
