What makes the 2021 vintage so exciting is how it produced cool-toned, elegant wines with impressive concentration. It’s essentially a dream combination of well-defined aromatics, energy, and focus. Ferrando’s Carema is renowned for its ability to age beautifully, and the 2021 vintage seems poised to become a legend.

Compared to Bianca, Etichetta Nera is richer and more powerful, and intense. It’s a powerhouse wine, but with breathtaking finesse.
In special vintages like 2021, Etichetta Nera reaches jaw-dropping levels of complexity and ageability. For those who enjoy agile, nuanced, and aromatically soaring wines, this is not to be missed.
Ferrando has a very loyal long-time fan base. Their alpine Nebbiolos represent the pinnacle of the grape’s elegance and grace. They are the most pure, energetic, and aromatic expressions of Nebbiolo in the world.
Ferrando's importer, Neal Rosenthal, has never been shy about his love of Ferrando's wines. He's written, "When I am asked which wine would I choose were I to be restricted to a single one, my answer is: Carema."
