I've been waiting to get my hands on Chave's 2019 Saint-Joseph.
The 2019 has a combination of power, purity, and freshness that's really stunning. It's a wine that I buy every vintage, but this is one of the years that seem special.
Chave's ability to render Syrah with depth, detail, and sophistication is without parallel. While the Hermitage is among the world's great wines, Chave's Saint-Joseph is where you find outrageous value.
I'm happy to offer Chave's 2019 Saint-Joseph for $89.95 per bottle.
The 2019 Saint-Joseph has a seamless and silky elegance. There's plenty of concentration and gripping depth, but what really stands out is the wine's harmony and clarity. It's a wine with plenty of resonance and drive.
The Chave family has deep roots in Saint-Joseph, dating all the way back to 1481. Jean-Louis has been a major proponent of Saint-Joseph’s potential, buying choice parcels and painstakingly rebuilding terraces there since the 1990s. Today, the Chave's family home is in Mauves, in the beating heart of Saint-Joseph.
Chave's Saint-Joseph is a wine that I buy in quantity and cellar every vintage. Chave's Saint-Joseph with age is impressive and delicious. I strongly advise you to grab at least a few bottles. It's a wine that you'll want around in quantity.
