Rocche is a relatively new addition to the Roagna lineup. In no time, it became one of the top wines. Sadly, Roagna's holdings in Rocche are a mere 0.5ha.
Barolo Rocche is one of Barolo's top sites. In Rocche, you find a gorgeous balance between the more muscular Barolos of Monforte and Serralunga and the more perfumed examples from La Morra. Rocche leads with beautifully complex floral, red fruit, and spice notes, backed by a firm edge of tannin. Above all, Rocche is about aromatics and elegance.
The 2020 Rocche offers up an incredible amount of finesse and clarity of expression. The aromatics explode in an impossible weave of red fruits, flowers, earth, minerals, and spice. Everything is presented in pitch-perfect harmony.
