Dujac is one of the great estates of the Côte d'Or. I have huge expectations of every bottle I open and pretty much each time I drink a Dujac, it transcends my expectations. The wines are simultaneously intense and silky with an ethereal dimension that's simply haunting

The 2013 Morey-Saint-Denis perfectly captures the beauty of Dujac this vintage. The wine is high toned, incredibly mineral and has a walk-on-tiptoe finesse. Morey's richness and muscle are on display, but there's a beautiful delicacy and perfume. It's very rare that a village Burgundy reaches this level, whispering complexity and class.
