Since her first vintage in 2020, Philine Dienger's wines have been aggressively sought after. Often the wines would sell out moments after they went online.
Philine Dienger grew up with foodie parents and, while at university, decided to pursue wine. After stints in Germany and Alto Adige, Dienger had a decisive experience working at Giuseppe Rinaldi.
Today, I'm happy to offer her 2022 Barolo Preda.
The style of the wines is very classic, but with a surprising amount of purity and clarity of fruit. There's a beautiful balance and finesse to the wines.
The 2022 Barolo Preda is absolutely stunning. It's layered and lifted in a really gorgeous way. The aromatic complexity is really impressive and nicely delineated. As with many of the wines, the combination of intensity and delicacy is lovely.
