I was really happy to land this parcel of 2015 Hudelot-Noëllat Chambolle-Musigny.
The 2015 Burgundy vintage boasts an incredibly concentrated profile with plentiful but refined tannins and a staggering amount of freshness and elegance for such a ripe vintage. It's a dream brew.
The village wines excelled in 2015. It shows in a big way in Hudelot-Noëllat's Chambolle-Musigny.
It delivers impressive focus and detail. Burghound calls the 2015 "mineral-suffused [and] very Chambolle in character." It offers up flamboyant notes of red fruits, spice, and flowers. There's ripeness, tension, and lift. The flavors are concentrated, and there's a pure, savory minerality slashing its way across the wine.
