When it comes to Jamet's Côte-Rôtie, there's not much that needs to be said.
Their Côte-Rôtie is a long-standing benchmark of the northern Rhône. It hits a level of Burgundian-like finesse that is almost without peer.
This is Côte-Rôtie with soaring aromatics and incredible detail. The weave of minerality, herbs, spice, savory elements, and florality is beautifully harmonious and simply amazing.

The 2023 northern Rhônes are a layered and powerful vintage, for sure. With that said, they have a radiance and lift that really stands out.
Jamet's 2023 flaunts a seductive textural appeal that's backed up by verve and detail. There are explosive and finely etched notes of flowers, dark berries, spice, and crushed rock. The combination of intensity and finesse is really compelling. In Nicolas Greinacher's review of the wine for Vinous Media, he simply calls the wine "outstanding."
