There may be no young Burgundy domaine that's more exciting than Benoit Moreau.
Benoit Moureau is the younger son of Bernard Moreau. In 2020, he decided to take his portion of his family's vines and make wine on his own.
The 2021 vintage was the first year that Benoit Moreau produced wines from start to finish from these vines. They announce the arrival of a serious talent.
The style is one of heartbreaking purity and pitch-perfect detail. They seek exactly what we seek in white Burgundy.
Today, we're excited to offer Benoit Moreau's Chassagne AC. I should mention that these are the only bottles available in the country.
The 2021 is wildly complex, clear, and lithe. It offers up citrus oils, herbs, and white flowers. What's amazing is that the wine fits such expansive nuance in a finely etched frame. This is very close to as exciting as Chassagne AC gets.
This is a wine that I've been very excited to offer. It's taken me some time to find the wine in any quantity and it's very likely just barely enough to meet demand. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.

William Kelley, The Wine Advocate: "The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc delivers aromas of white flowers, pear, orange zest and nutmeg, followed by a medium to full-bodied, racy and perfumed palate framed by chalky structure and concluding with an impressively long, saline finish. If Moreau can deliver quality like this, with sites like this, in a vintage like this, the future clearly holds great things for him."
