I went heavy on Bartolo Mascarello, including magnums of their delicious Freisa. There's also Margherita Otto, a Barolo winery of a protégé of Maria Teresa Mascarello.
In addition, you'll find 2003 and 2010 Burlotto Monvigliero, and back-vintages of Brovia. Among the very recognizable producers, you'll encounter Baricchi and Serafino Rivella. Both are producing head-turning examples of Barbarescos. Finally, I couldn't help including the northern Piedmont with Nervi-Conterno's stunning 2016 Gattinara.
