The list below contains almost three dozen different wines from our favorite Piedmont producers.

You'll find plenty from benchmark producers like Conterno, Bartolo Mascarello, and Roagna.
Also included below are wines from Piedmont's new wave -D'Arcy and Lalu.
I'd also like to give special attention to Serafino Rivella. They are one of our most beloved producers in Piedmont. Antonio Galloni captures the wines well when he writes, "Tasting Teobaldo and Maria Rivella's wines is like stepping back into Piedmont's past."
Finally, I felt compelled to include a Barolo Chinato. The easiest way to describe Chinato is a cross between a fortified wine and the king of vermouths. Cappellano created the category of Barolo Chinato and remains the standard-bearer.
