The Cuvée de Réserve is sourced exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs. A healthy portion comes from a perpetual cuvée that was started in 1988. The addition of these reserve wines created a layered and silky profile that cushions the Côte des Blancs cut and energy.
This is a great snapshot of Peters' style. It boasts impressive purity and finesse. There's a blazing chalky minerality with subtle notes of stone fruits and citrus. You get a gripping presence and a sense of completeness.
I bought every magnum that was offered, but it doesn't amount to much. If you're interested, I'd suggest that you get your order in early.
