This isn't really a rosé; this isn't really a red wine. It is somehow, both.
As we've written before, this confounding Pinot Noir Rosé transcends the normal boundaries of what one might expect in a rosé or a red wine.
It is both, and neither, at the same time.
This helps to explain, at least in part, why we come to the table with a "rosé" offer in February. This is a perennial winter favorite: A wine textural enough to pair with heartier dishes yet vibrant enough to drink on its own. This is the standard bearer of a rare breed of wine: The winter rosé.
A staff and customer favorite, the value here is obvious and undeniable: At as low as $25.95 on the four-pack, the only thing that this wine has in common with the incoming ocean of ho-hum rosés is the price.
The 2021 comes to us in an angelic form. Enderle & Moll have such a deft touch: A fresh, sweet-perfumed nose - simply soaring aromatics - balanced by dark berry fruit and a deep earthiness that provides such a fascinating counterpoint to the bright vivid fruit flavors. This wine is very serious, and yet also incredibly easy to drink.
Like the rosés from Valentini, Cotat, and Château Simone, Enderle & Moll's has a cult following. This is a small domaine and their rosé always sells out quickly. We suggest that you get your orders in early.
