Kongsgaard's first vintage was 1996. These are California Chardonnays that have stood the test of time. When we talk about the rigorous architecture of these wines, it really shows in how beautifully they age.

The 2014 presents an astonishing amount of layers rendered in perfect clarity - tangerine, lemon zest, subtle stone fruits, zingy minerality and floral high notes. The way that it can carry such volume and such a saturating presence with incredible detail and energy borders on magical. No one hits this combo as well as Kongsgaard.
