This is the first time that I've been able to offer Tribut's Beauroy in magnums. The fact that it's the 2017 vintage only makes it more extraordinary.
Tribut's 2017s offer an incredible completeness. They have presence and an intense salty, Chablisienne minerality coursing through them.
The story here is that Laurent Tribut married Marie-Clotilde Dauvissat, the daughter of René Dauvissat. The Dauvissats purchased choice parcels to give to their children to become winemakers, which is the land Laurent and Marie-Clotilde farm.
It's very easy to detect a kinship with the wines of Dauvissat. In Tribut, you encounter a similar classically structured, deeply complex Chablis minerality, the same intense, sweeping notes of stone fruits, flowers, and minerals.
The 2017 Beauroy is the genuine article, boasting oceanic notes and citrus. There's a beautiful refinement and focus to the wine. It's a seriously compelling example of Beauroy.
I'll just close with a warning. This is a very modest parcel and I expect a quick sell out. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.

Burghound: "Burghound "As is usually the case with Beauroy, there is a suggestion of the exotic present on the slightly riper aromas of white orchard fruit confit that is laced with hints of seashore and again algae. There is also a bit more volume and mid-palate richness to the opulent and seductively textured medium weight flavors that despite the lavish mouth feel culminate in a clean, markedly dry and almost salty finale. Note that this opulent effort should be approachable young but age well too."
