We've been working with the wines for eighteen years. They've always turned out Sangiovese exactly how we like it. The wines are structured, nuanced, and offer a beautiful combination of lift and depth.
Last week, we offered Boncie's 2023 La Trame. Today, we're happy to return with their Chiesamonti bottling.

Chiesamonti made its debut in the 2018 vintage. It is sourced from Castelnuovo Berardenga, a town adjacent to San Felice, where Le Trame comes from. The soils here are stonier, and Chiesamonti has a distinctively sleek elegance.
There's no doubt that Boncie's wines hit a high-water mark with the 2021 vintage. The 2023 Chiesamonti shows that the wines are getting more finely tuned with each vintage.
In 2023, Chiesamonti is deep and powerful, but delivers this profile with incredible clarity. Earthy notes intermingle with spice and burnt citrus tones. Everything is woven together seamlessly.
