The 2020 red Burgundy vintage is astonishing. It combines a dark, saturating intensity and vibrancy, and lift. I share the common opinion that I haven't tasted a vintage quite like it.
Bertheau thrives in ripe vintages. The wines amazingly take the ripeness of the 2020 vintage and render it with an incredible balance and precision. The 2020 Chambolle offers up a seductive velvety texture and aromatic complexity.
I'm always excited to offer the Chambolle AC. Not many wines at this price point get to the heart of what makes red Burgundy beautiful the way that Bertheau's Chambolle does.
