There are plenty of selections from Burgundy legends, like Mugneret-Gibourg, Roumier, and Rousseau.
Outside of these producers, I feel compelled to highlight a couple of wines.
There's Simon Bize's 2021 Latricières-Chambertin, which is a great pairing of producer and vintage. Bize's stony and classical style shined in the element and terroir-soaked 2021 vintage.
I also want to highlight the wines of Berthaut-Gerbet. The wines have a gorgeous harmony and precision. Amélie Berthaut has holdings in heavy-hitting sites, including Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Petits Monts and Echézeaux. However, much of the domaine's fame is based on her Fixin bottlings. The 2021 Fixin Les Clos is really beautiful.
