Equally impressive is the abundance of value that her range offers. Finding red Burgundy around the $45 mark is quite a challenge. However, you can find multiple wines in Berthaut-Gerbet's lineup below that price point.
Of course, focusing on price is only part of the story. These are seriously delicious red Burgundies.
Today, I'm happy to offer another example of the ridiculous value that can be found in Berthaut-Gerbet's lineup, the 2023 Côtes de Nuits Rouge.
I have a soft spot for Côte de Nuits, mostly due to Bachelet's wines, but also a new generation of producers, like Camille Thiriet, Jérôme Galeyrand, and Berthaut-Gerbet.
We really like Berthaut-Gerbet's touch with Côte de Nuits. This is a radiant and finessed expression of Côte de Nuits. We're really impressed by the 2023's radiance and complex earth notes.
