Suenen's Champagnes are among the great expressions of the CĂ´te des Blancs.
Suenen's Chardonnays are nearly without peer in Champagne, boasting rare clarity and precision.
The sheer beauty of Suenen's Champagnes has earned them a cult following. Our recent offer for two of their non-vintage Champagnes sold out quickly. I'm certain that this offer for the rare single vineyard Les Robarts will sell out in a flash.Â
Les Robarts is sourced from a well situated parcel in Cramant that borders on Avize. Cramant is without a doubt one of the greatest of Champagne's Grand Cru villages. Les Robart is an example of the best that Cramant has to offer. The wine has a finely knit chalky texture and a sleek tension along with an expansive power.Â
The 2013 Robarts is the more chiseled and brisk of the two vintages while showing plenty of tactile grip. The 2014 is one of the great examples of the vintage. In this vintage Robarts is layered with glossy fruits and a laser-like focus.Â
The Robarts is one of the most exciting CĂ´te des Blancs around. I'm very happy to have the opportunity to offer the wine. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.Â

2013Â Les Robarts Blanc de Blancs
Special Bottle Price: $164.95
William Kelley, The Wine Advocate: "Disgorged in October 2019 with four grams per liter dosage, Suenen's 2013 Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Cramant Les Robarts is brilliant, unwinding in the glass with scents of fresh pastry, crisp stone fruit, smoke, green apple and orange oil. Full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's vinous and textural, with more mid-palate volume than any other cuvée in the range—excepting, that is Le Mont-Aigu. Penetrating and intensely mineral, it's serious and complete."
2014Â Les Robarts Blanc de Blancs
Special Bottle Price: $159.95
William Kelley, The Wine Advocate: "Disgorged in July 2020 with two grams per liter dosage, the 2014 Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Cramant Les Robarts is showing very well indeed, offering up aromas of peach, pear, clear honey, citrus oil, white flowers and praline. Medium to full-bodied, saline and layered, it's fleshy but precise, with a long, penetrating finish. Sapid and intense, I can't wait to revisit it after some more time on cork."
