For many people today, Lamy is one of the most exciting producers of white Burgundy around.
Lamy is one of the standard-bearers for St. Aubin.
Lamy has holdings in all of the top sites—Chatenière, En Remilly, and Les Murgers des Dents de Chien. While these wines receive most of the attention, people who taste through Lamy's lineup often grab onto Clos du Meix as well.

Lamy's wines are grandly sculpted with eye-opening rigor. The wines age beautifully on their density and serious mineral backbones.
Clos du Meix takes this signature to the razor's edge. It is a riveting wine. Clos du Meix is tension-filled with pointed focus and serious drive. The minerality here is tactile.
The 2023 boasts incredible clarity, finesse, and beautiful balance. There's a beautiful thread of rocky, saline-inflected minerality along with zingy citrus notes and high-toned florality.
What I like most about Clos du Meix is how it shows Lamy working with a site that produces emphatically mineral and cut wines. The result is a wine with loads of finesse and excitement. I encourage you to check out at least a bottle.
