Show-Stopping Debut from PYCM
2014 Colin-Morey Chassagne-Montrachet
1er Cru Abbaye de Morgeot Clement Emma

This is exciting. A debut from Colin-Morey in a show-stopping vintage.

There's no doubt that Pierre-Yves Colin is making some of the most compelling White Burgundies around. He's mentioned in the same breath as Coche-Dury and Roulot.

We've been eagerly waiting for his 2014s, especially his newest bottling, Abbaye de Morgeot. Colin-Morey is one of the masters of Chassagne. There may be no one in the villages working more compellingly. Abbaye de Morgeot is a choice parcel of the Morgeot 1er Cru. Expect all the soaring brilliance that you've come to expect from PYCM along with an aristocratic length and grand composition.

There were only 90 cases of Abbaye de Morgeot produced. This is a wine that will disappear from the market. I strongly encourage you to jump on this.

By now, word is out on the 2014 White Burgs. I can't remember a vintage in the past decade that has been met with as much anticipation. The wines have such clarity and punch that when you taste them, it's obvious that 2014 is an important vintage. The wines are the total package of vibrancy, concentration and refined harmony.

Pierre-Yves Colin produced an incredible line-up in 2014. As always, they present Chardonnay at its most intense, its most pure, its most beautifully integrated. The 2014s combine incredible depth with an explosive, crystalline expression of minerals, flowers and stone fruits.

This is an absolutely stunning debut for the Abbaye de Morgeot. It will undoubtedly become an important wine in the PYCM stable. It's a great pleasure to offer.
