2003 Soldera Case Basse
Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
$100 BELOW the Lowest Price in the Nation

We lined our cellars with the 2004.

Then we wondered, "What can we drink in the meantime?"

Therein lies the beauty of vintage variations.

While the 2004 Soldera Riserva is structured to lay down for the long haul, requiring ample patience, the 2003 is more like the tulips in Central Park right about now - just starting to pop, and beautiful..

To bring the significance of the deal right into sharp focus: this is $100 off ANY and ALL other pricing in the nation.

The integrity, the same fanatic quality are still in the 2003, it's just a simple matter of vintage differences here, with 2003 being a warmer vintage, giving the wines riper, more supple and silky fruit that comes out of its shell more quickly than that from a vintage like 2004. There's still a brisk current of acidity to keep it fresh and gliding, and the tannins are remarkably well-integrated.

Antonio Galloni sums it up perfectly: "Texturally silky and refined, the 2003 Riserva shows wonderful balance, tons of class and a highly appealing personality." Which, of course, is even more highly appealing at today's pricing.

This is just starting to come into its prime drinking window now, though it should also stay strong through the next decade, so you can keep your hands off the 04s for a bit.

We have just a few cases to offer and this is ONLY for those of you who bought the 2004 - still, we expect these to go quickly, so if you're interested, let us know as soon as you can. To order, please email us at offers@crushwineco.com or call the store at (212) 980-9463.
