I have a soft spot for Bussière.
I've had so many great experiences with the wine that it's impossible not to.
Bussière has a formidable depth of structure, serious complexity, and evolves beautifully in the cellar. This helps explain why so many seasoned collectors purchase Bussière each vintage.

The 1er Cru Clos de la Bussière sits in the southern section of Morey at the border of Chambolle and is a monopole. It lies below the Grand Cru Clos de Tart and has very stony soil.
Roumier made an absolutely stunning collection in 2023. Burghound just came out and wrote that they are "some of the finest wines of the vintage in 2023".
The 2023 Bussière has the typical powerful structure, but also has a generous layer of fruit that gives the wine a lovely accessibility. It runs a huge range from earth, spice, dark fruits, and an intense mineral streak. The total package is absolutely beautiful.
Bussière ages amazingly well. I've had plentyof bottles with 10-20 years of age and still holding plenty in reserve. Sadly, as with all Roumier, quantities are limited. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.

Neal Martin, Vinous Media: "The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos de la Bussiere 1er Cru has a clean and precise bouquet, with forest floor and hints of ceps infusing the dark berry fruit. It”s a little introverted at first but it unfolds nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and gentle grip. It’s quite saline in the mouth with a precise, almost understated finish. This is a classy Morey Saint-Denis from Roumier."
