Jean-Marie Guffens is making some of the most exciting and singular white Burgundies around.
It's amazing that the wines cruise under the radar.

Over the past couple of years, I've recommended Guffens-Heynen to Burgundy fanatics, and each time they find the wines revelatory. As William Kelley, the astute writer for The Wine Advocate, has said: "Guffens produces some of the most exciting wines in all of Burgundy."
For over two decades, I've been following Guffens' wines. The wines of Guffens-Heynen have simply never been better.
For many, the wines of the Mâconnais in southern Burgundy are second-tier. However, in Guffens' hands, the region can compete on the world stage. The wines of the Mâconnais are often associated with a certain heaviness. The wines of Guffens-Heynen shock you with their electricity and fineness.
I've been waiting to snag Guffens-Heynen's 2024s. This is a vintage where the style really shined. Today, I'm happy to offer the 2024 Mâcon-Pierreclos "Tris de Chavigne."
The 2024 white Burgundy vintage is defined by cool verve. The vintage's signature, combined with Guffens' style, results in a dynamite collection. The wines are concentrated and rigorous, with a kinetic energy and beautiful oceanic minerality. The combination of poise, intensity, and detail is really compelling.
Before closing, I'll mention that 2024 is a short vintage, and we have much less of this wine available than we have had in previous years. We recommend that you get your orders in early.
