The hallmark here is aristocratic breeding with super-fine layers of fruit. It is authoritative in its presence for sure, but it carries its stature with stunning sophistication. It is amazing how Comtes de Champagne Rosé delivers such a seductive texture while being so ethereal and perfumed.
Taittinger's 2013 is defined by its energy. It has a shimmering clarity. There's an incredible cast of bright aromatics and a tactile minerality. The total package is lovely.
As Comtes de Champagne Rosé ages, magic happens. Mature examples combine a Burgundy-like earthiness and complexity with a shocking freshness. This is a not-to-be-missed vintage of the wine.
