Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon Rosé may very well be the most regally elegant rosé available.
In 2008, there's a diamond-like purity and detail to it.
Billecart's rosé NV may be the most beloved rosé Champagne in the world. Their prestige rosé, Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon, takes things to a whole other level.
What makes Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon stand out among the range is the level of fine-ness married to depth and length. The pale color clues you in to the wine's delicacy. The palate is very nimble, displaying an ultra-refined texture with layers of citrus, bright red fruits, flowers and minerals. Elisabeth Salmon is a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with 8-10% still red wine blended.
The 2008 vintage is one of the greatest vintages of the past few decades, right there next to 2002 and 1996. The 2008 Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon Rosé has a jaw-dropping harmony, precision, and elegance.
It is a beautiful example of one of Champagne's great, aristocratic rosés. Elisabeth Salmon Rosé is very difficult to find in quantity. Recently, we were lucky enough to secure a modestly sized parcel. We're happy to be able to offer the wine.
