Alex Moreau is simply one of the most talented producers of white Burgundy. It's amazing how Moreau's wines weave concentration and intensity into such beautiful harmony and verve. The Sur Gamay dramatizes this signature in a really compelling way.

I've long been impressed with how Moreau's style dovetails with the Sur Gamay 1er Cru. The site produces rigorous and fiercely mineral Chardonnays. Moreau turns out wines of incredible finesse and kinetic energy. The 2022 Sur Gamay soars with floral tones and a rigorous stony backbone.
