Alex and Benoît Moreau produce some of the most exciting white Burgundies around. This marks our first offering of their work in Saint-Aubin.

Moreau produces some of the best Chassagne around, but their work in Saint-Aubin is really stunning and offers incredible value.
The signature is wines that are explosive, rigorously sculpted, and above all, pure. The Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Sur Gamay has a steely and electric profile that separates it from the Chassagne bottlings.
The 2019 is thrilling. The wine offers up a jaw-dropping combination of tension and punch. I really like the impression of completeness and elegance. The finish is awash in minerality and high-toned floral and citrus notes that are absolutely pristine in their expression.
I expect this to age beautifully based on its density and serious mineral backbone. Before wrapping up, I should warn you that this is a modest parcel. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.

The palate is clean and fresh with fine acidity, a touch of bitter lemon lending edginess towards the finish. Fine energy here, this should drink well for 6-10 years."
