The 1er Cru Beaux Monts is a stony, higher altitude 1er Cru. Here, Vosne-Romanée's velvet and spice assume a more taut format with a mineral streak and soaring aromatics.
More importantly, Beaux Monts gives Dujac's style nearly ideal conditions to flaunt its finesse and its combination of mineral refinement and gorgeous layers of aromatics.
In 2023, Beaux Monts has a fineness and soaring elegance that's jaw-dropping. I really love the wine's polished mineral and complex exotic spice notes. The harmony is otherworldly.
There's no denying that, vintage after vintage, Dujac's wines function at a very elite level. There's an intensity and a regal stature to the wines that's amazing. I'm very happy to offer this.

Burghound: "A cool, airy and elegant nose is comprised by purple fruit, exotic spiced tea and pretty floral wisps. The super-sleek, detailed and mineral-driven middle weight flavors exude evident minerality on the youthfully austere and strikingly persistent finale. This is not particularly dense but the balance is excellent and this too should age effortlessly."
