"This is quite a beauty!" -Mosel Fine Wines

Today, we're happy to offer rare magnums of 2020 Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Kabinett. Currently, these are the only magnums of any vintage available in the U.S.

This is a very small parcel that we're only offering to Egon Muller supporters. It seems that a quick sell out is inevitable.

In any vintage, Müller's Kabinett is animated by a mineral drenched cut. There's an incredible refinement and length that announces the wine's nobility.

With that said, we're especially excited about the 2020 Kabinett. The wines that we've tasted from the Mosel and the Saar show an amazing interplay of density and steely verve. They combine a tactile mineral presence with cool-toned fruits and a beautiful freshness.

Müller's Kabinett has a magical ability to combine intensity and a seemingly miraculous weightlessness. Expect the 2020 to be an especially thrilling example of this remarkable signature. Mosel Fine Wines sum the wine up well: "This is quite a beauty!"

As I mentioned earlier, this is a very modest parcel. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.

Mosel Fine Wines: "The 2020er Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett was fermented down to barely fruity-styled levels of residual sugar. It offers a superbly refined and delicately herbal and zesty nose of white mint, vineyard peach, whipped almond cream, tangerine, orange blossom, and some fresher (green) elements. The wine starts off on the juicy and almost smooth side but progressively develops more cut as zesty and spicy elements join the party on the palate. The wine develops all the classic hallmarks of a Kabinett with energy and finesse and finesse in the finish and leaves one with a superbly focused and spicy feel in the off-dry aftertaste. This is quite a beauty!"
