What we love about the Grézeaux bottling is its honesty, edgy minerality, and the combination of immediate textural appeal and the ability to age beautifully for decades. It comes from 50 to 60-year-old vines on gravel soils that sit over sand and limestone.
The 2021 Grézeaux is full of soil-inflected nuances and a polished mineral core. There’s a freshness and energy that’s thrilling. I really like the high-toned and nimble personality of the wine in 2021.
Baudry is one of our favorite producers in the entire Loire. Year after year they craft some of the greatest expressions of Cabernet Franc. The 2021 Grézeaux is yet another monument to this domaine's unwavering excellence.
