Simply put, it is one of the most profound and captivating Beaujolais' around. Gamay seldom reaches such levels of depth, sophistication, and complexity.
Côte du Py is known for being one of Beaujolais' greatest sites. Foillard's 3,14 includes a healthy dose of his oldest vines in Côte du Py. When you taste the 3,14, it's clear that only the most beautiful fruit makes the cut.
You can expect the 2017 to be an epic example of the wine. It has a lovely balance between richness and energy. There are incredibly pure layers of floral tinged cherry fruit, spice, and a gentle undercurrent of smoky mineral.
Foillard's 3,14 is a very compelling example of the heights that Beaujolais can reach. There are very few wines from the region that can even compete. As usual, the 2017 3,14 is extremely limited. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.
