Tribut's Montmains is one of those legendary bottles that's nearly impossible to find in quantity.

Tribut's section in Montmains is situated in Forêt. Out of the lineup, the Montmains stands out for its finesse and deeply etched precision.
The 2018s at Tribut are powerful and textured, but also profoundly oceanic with detailed finishes. The wines somehow manage to be simultaneously concentrated and taut.
The Montmains is outrageously refined and focused with a saline and crushed rock minerality. Burghound captures the wine well when he writes that there is "a beguiling texture to the punchy, rich and focused flavors". It's a dazzling expression of Chablis.
I buy Tribut at every opportunity and still, this is the first time that we've been able to offer their Montmains. I expect this to sell out quickly. Tribut has a strong following and when they see Montmains, they don't hesitate to buy deep.
