I've had some jaw-dropping bottles of Rhône wine recently.

You'll find a healthy amount of back-vintages from Clape, Chave, Gonon, Jasmin, and Levet.
I should also call attention to the jewel box Cornas of Robert Michel. Until his retirement following the 2006 vintage, Michel was one of the old wisemen of Cornas. This is where Thierry Allemand began his winemaking career.
Finally, the Cornas of Cyril Courvoisier deserve to be highlighted. These are incredibly pure and detailed expressions of Cornas. Prior to founding his estate in 2011, Cyril Courvoisier worked for Domaine Colombo. He has prime holdings in Cornas in the Le Cote and Chaillot.
