Ballot Millot's 2023 Perrières is an absolutely thrilling example of this great site. The 2023 Perrières possesses an incredible amount of punch and loads of elegance. The wine has a beautiful focus with a driving, laser-like minerality. It's clearly a first-class wine.
Ballot Millot has been on a swift ascent since 2001, when Charles Ballot took over from his father, Philippe. A while back, Burghound summed up the wines as "transparent, elegant and pure." That captures the wines well and explains why Ballot Millot has become an essential part of our white Burgundy program.
We're huge fans of Ballot Millot's Perrières, but the 2023 is especially impressive. This is a dynamite bottle of white Burgundy.
