In 2021, I named Bachelet-Monnot's 2019 Puligny my Wine Of The Year.

Ever since, their Puligny has majorly overdelivered for its villages level. It's an essential part of our white Burgundy program. 

Bachelet-Monnot was so wildly successful in the 2024 vintage that if it didn't feel repetitive, I would certainly consider the 2024 as a candidate for my Wine Of The Year. 

As we wrote recently, Bachelet-Monnot simply nailed the 2024 vintage. They captured the laser focus and overall vibrancy of the year especially well.

The polished minerality and the sleek kinetic energy of the 2024 Puligny boldly underscore how successful they were. There's an astounding purity to the wine along with an intense focus and nimble finesse.

Brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet founded Bachelet-Monnot in 2005, and in no time their wines were stopping even the most jaded palates in their tracks. In recent vintages, they have been on a tear. The 2024s are certainly a high-water mark for the estate. For fans of white Burgundy, the 2024 Puligny should not be missed.
