Prünent is a locale variety of the Nebbiolo grape that is thought to be the one from which the rest of the types in Piedmont originated. Cantine Garrone's Prünent bottling is based on 60-80-year-old vines, some of which are ungrafted. The age of the vines makes itself felt in the wine's concentration and resonant complexity.
