Roulot produced great 2018s. Word on the street is that they are some of the best whites of the vintage, with a combination of snap and mineral-laden generosity.
The villages designation is very deceiving. The wine is world-class.
The 2018 Meursault flaunts all of Roulot's signatures of laser-like focus, kinetic energy, and incredible finesse. Burghound's note really nails the wine: "The sleek, intense and almost racy medium-bodied flavors possess excellent delineation."
Calling a vintage a home-run for Roulot is a big thing... 2018 is that. There's never enough of Roulot's Meursault to go around. My advice is to get your order in early.
