"This is a wine of finesse with knockout length"
2018 Roulot Meursault 1er Cru Clos des Bouchères

Roulot's 2018s are utterly brilliant.

Roulot has a tendency to really succeed in ripe vintages. Still, the 2018s are shocking in their terroir expression, rigor, and elegance.

As the Burghound quote above makes clear, Clos des Bouchères is a profound example of Roulot's amazing 2018 collection.

Clos des Bouchères always amazes in how it combines saturating minerality with a dazzling gracefulness. It's a wine that's absolutely riveting. There's a tactile saline impression with beautiful delineation and incredible length.

The monopole site really shined in 2018. It combines punch with an intricate delicacy. There’s a cool, unyielding precision and explosive brightness with floral tones and stone fruits. The total package is seriously impressive.

Roulot is one of the greatest producers of white wine on the planet. The 2018 Clos des Bouchères makes this clear yet again. As always, there's not much of this wine to go around. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.

Burghound: "Exuberantly fresh and elegant aromas combine notes of acacia blossom, rose petal, white peach, spiced pear and a whisper of just grated lemon zest. The strikingly fine middle weight flavors are almost delicate yet display excellent intensity on the focused and highly persistent finish that flashes superb complexity. As are all the best examples of Bouchères, this is a wine of finesse with knockout length."
