Last weekend, we offered Taittinger's incredible 2008 CdC Rosé.
Today, we turn to the not to be overlooked 2007 vintage.
The 2007 CdC Rosé stands as one of the monuments of the vintage. When Antonio Galloni, calls it a "total knock-out", that's spot on.
For us, this is a don't miss value for CdC Rosé.
Taittinger's 2007 is defined by its energy and ethereal perfume. For all of its lift, the 2007 CdC also has a seductive texture with a seamless sophistication. It has a shimmering clarity. There's an incredible cast of bright aromatics and a tactile minerality.
As Comtes de Champagne Rosé ages, magic happens. Mature examples combine a Burgundy-like earthiness and complexity with a shocking freshness.
I've been searching for the 2007 for some time and have only been able to land a very modest parcel. I'm expecting a quick sell out. Please give us your ideal order, and we'll try our best.

Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media: "The 2007 Comtes de Champagne Rosé is a total knock-out. Racy and exuberant in the glass, the 2007 wraps around the palate with stunning textural depth and resonance. The 15% still Pinot adds structure and persistence to a creamy, inviting Rosé Champagne that will leave readers weak at the knees. Hints of rose petal, dried cherry, cinnamon and dried flowers meld into the sublime finish. This is about as good as it gets. Wow!"
